FLORENCE COUNTY

TELECOMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

JOIN OUR TEAM!!! WE ARE HIRING!! We're excited to announce that Florence County 9-1-1 Central Dispatch Center is currently hiring Telecommunicators.

DO NOT CALL 9-1-1 TO ASK IF WE ARE HIRING (But yes, we are!!!)

We need more awesome people! Do you have an overwhelming need to help people, but don’t want to have to touch them? Do you want to do hero-like things without wearing tights? Can you do multiple things at once? For example: Can you watch a TV show, hold 2 different conversations, eat a snack or two (without anyone knowing you are chewing), and still be able to hear--and separate--the people arguing in the kitchen? Do you have a flexible schedule that would allow you to be a contributing member of a 24/7/365 team? If you answered YES to all of these questions—then dispatch may be the job for you!

**Please note** We work: All holidays, weekends, weekdays, days that end with "Y", hours that people are asleep, hours that people are awake, all phases of the moon, birthdays, leap day, daylight savings, National Ice Cream day, severe weather, sunny weather, zombie apocalypse, etc. 24/7/365. Here's the link to the job posting. READ IT THOROUGHLY!
